Antique Oak Folding Card Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality folding oak card table dating from the early 20th Century. It has sturdy X-frame legs joined by stretchers. The top has a nice inset green baize surface and it has its original brass hinges and brass locking latches.

There is an original retailer's label for "J.Bagshaw & Sons. Church St, Liverpool. Manufactured in England"

It is in good condition for its age and the oak has developed a lovely rich patina. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but no major damages or anything detrimental and the baize is in good order. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
