Fine Scottish George III figured mahogany longcase clock with 8 day striking movement by Thomas Stewart of Auchterarder (Perthshire). The hood with boxwood fretted panels and the trunk door cross-banded and having large shell inlaid to centre of door. The case in fine original condition with hardly a repair. The finely painted dial movement has recently been overhauled and is in working order. The case a lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. Comes with all keys.

Size; 82" high, 20" wide & 11" deep at hood.
