Scottish Georgian Mahogany Longcase Clock Circa 1790

Description

Fine Scottish George III mahogany and boxwood line inlaid longcase clock with 8 day striking movement by MacFarlane of Perth. The case in fine original condition with hardly a repair. Finely painted dial with 4 season spandrels and scene with ladies with dove in cage in arch. The movement recently overhauled and in perfect working order. The case a lovely slightly pale rich colour with fine waxed patina. Comes with all keys.

Size; 86" high, 10" wide and 10.5" deep at hood.
