Outstanding quality antique Victorian burr walnut davenport having a gallery top above a lift up top with the original brown leather writing surface cross banded in walnut. The top opens to reveal a fitted interior with two drawers and two dummy drawers To the right hand side there are four working drawers and four dummy drawers to the opposing side both in wonderful burr walnut each with original turned walnut wooden knobs. The back is finished in burr walnut too making it free standing if required The front is supported by two shaped solid wood carved legs with scroll ends and raised on turned bun feet with original castors.
A very desirable example in lovely condition.
The picture shows the lock is missing this has been taken out to have a new cut and will be fitted fully working and fitted before delivery .
