A Good Quality Pair of Victorian Ale Glasses

Description

An unusual pair of Victorian ale glasses. These handsome examples date from the mid 19th Century and have curved bowls, with baluster stems. The bases have a polished pontil mark and the bowls have slice cutting to the lower half, a popular design in the 19th Century. Good collector's glasses with a variety of practical uses and a capacity of a half pint. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks. There is a slight colour variation, which is part of the manufacturing process.

Capacity :- 1/2 Pint / Just under 300ml.
