An attractive prayer chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.

The chair sits on turned legs at the front and backward curved oblong legs at the rear with ceramic castors.

The chair is upholstered in a pale embroidered type fabric.

The chair has a height of 39" (99cm) with a backrest height of 26" (66cm), a seat height of 13.5" (35cm), a seat width of 20" (51cm) and a seat depth of 16" (41cm).

This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. The material has some wear to the edges and is frayed along the top rail. There is a little bit of play to the backrest.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
