The Artist: Charles Henry Passey (born.1818 - died 1895) Had a London address and often painted rural scenes, like this one, but also cornfields and harvesting scenes. He flourished between the years 1870-1885 and exhibited three landscapes, in Derbyshire and Cumberland and at Suffolk Street, London (the home of the Society of British Artists).
