This fine pair of silver plated wine bottle coasters are marked for highly regarded maker Elkington & Mason. Bearing the date letter for 1859, this pair of coasters are of particularly substantial proportions. Featuring beautiful turned mahogany bases with central buttons. With gorgeous pierced detailing to rims.

This superb pair have signs of surface wear due to the age and usage of these pieces. With a large split across one wooden base and minor splitting to the other but this does not affect the overall structural integrity of the coasters.
