Description

A superb and scarcely found Vide Poche or catchall dish made in silvered bronze, the handle in the form of a horse's head, washed in gold.

Dating to c.1960, the side is fully marked "Hermes, Paris" together with the silversmith's makers mark for the top-notch Ravinet d'Enfert of Paris, the company chosen by Hermes to manufacture their fine silver collections.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

Excellent condition, measuring 7" including handle x 5 3/4" x 2 1/2".
