Description

A superb set of original antique Regency period mahogany dining chairs. They were made in England, and date from around the 1820-1840’s.

The quality is fantastic, they have lovely curved upper backrests and beautiful carving just below. They sit on elegant yet sturdy sabre shaped legs, accentuated with scrolled carving at the knees. The drop in seats are upholstered in a royal green leather which compliments the mahogany beautifully.

We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age, with various small marks and bumps beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age. The green leather seats are in excellent condition as well, with hardly any wear to be seen.
