Description

A very nice circa 1900 tabriz rug with a beautiful design centred around a floral cartouche medallion of floral arabesques on a medium blue ground with contrasting powder blue palmette main border.

Has been hand washed last two images,over 30 images of rug including in different settings.

All over low pile. Ends been blanket stitched with conservators tape to sides.

Size is 6 foot 2 inches by 4 foot 8 inches. 189cm X 143cm. At widest points. Minor fringes not measured in size. Wool pile hand knotted onto fine cotton foundations.

Weighs 6.1kg. U.k post £20.

Price a very reasonable £ item now sold gbp. Bank transfers,discussions,etc all welcomed.
