The bronze depicting Atalanta in the race with Hippomenes. She is depicted with her hair gathered in a ribbon, wearing a light open dress as she runs forward. The whole on a circular plinth base. The base engraved for the BARBEDIENNE FOUNDRY, with a further foundry stamp.
Date circa 1870.
