Description

A good Victorian silver sovereign case with clear hallmarks under the lid for Birmingham 1898 and makers mark for Mitchell Bosley and Co Ltd. The lion passant and date mark are also present on the sovereign keeper ring and lion passant on the engine turned sprung base. The exterior is chased all over with curled foliage. One side has a shield engraved with a decorative cipher. The lid clicks open and shut perfectly by pressing the tiny button on the ring knob. In beautiful condition and very clean.
