Victorian Silver Scallop-shaped Dish 1888

Description

This lovely SOLID SILVER SCALLOP SHELL SHAPED DISH sits on three unusual shell-shaped feet.

Made by Goldsmith & Silversmiths Co. Ltd in 1888, this pretty dish would originally been designed for butter or preserves but could also be used as a trinket tray and would make a lovely gift.

Free from any added inscriptions, initials or monograms this lovely antique is in excellent condition despite being almost 135 years old.

Dimensions:

Length – 4.75” (120mm) / Width – 4.0” (100mm)

Weight – 87gm / 2.78ozt

Condition:
