Antique Oak Pedestal Desk

A charming antique oak pedestal desk or kneehole desk. The antique oak pedestal desk has a rectangular shaped top with a leather inset above three drawers. The writing surface is raised on two pedestals with an arrangement of three drawers on each, all with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The antique oak pedestal desk is raised on castors and comes apart in three sections for ease of transport.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and splits to the top and sides (pictured), further marks and scratches to the drawer fronts (pictured). The leather inset also has marks, scratches and some minor tears (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the piece. There are also minor chips to the veneer at the plinth base. The antique oak pedestal desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
