This is a good quality handwoven Anatolian silk carpet with a tasteful colour palette which dates from the early 20th century. The silk carpet is woven on cotton and a wheat coloured lozenge field around a rich terracotta stellar medallion framed by deep indigo spandrels and narrow floral borders. The silk carpet is a good size measuring 185 cms by 122 cms and is in excellent condition throughout.
