A wonderful and very large Wild Boar head dating from c1950.
This excellent piece is of good proportions.
Of particular interest is the way that the eyes have been set with top quality inserts resulting in a truely lifelike appearance.
The trophy is mounted with an invisible backboard so the Boar appears to be emerging from the wall surface. The mounting point is a robust ring that simply slips over a hook.
The tusks are a very fine set which give the Boar a handsome look. His fur is deep and lustrous, with the ear fur being particularly attractive.
Overall a lovely large, clean example which will look great and deliver a genuine 'Wow' factor! We have never seen better.
