Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The Davenport desk opens to reveal a neat interior, consisting of two usable drawers (the top two drawers are fixed and don’t open). To the right-hand side is a bank of four fitted drawers, each with two wooden knobs (the left-hand side being dummy drawers). The antique Davenport desk has decorative carved front corbels and is raised on four castors.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, front and drawers (pictured). There is also a split to the back and to the interior of the desk (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique Davenport desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers and castors running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
