Silver Golfer Table Bell.

1900 - 1920
Description

This nice quality bell which is made of sterling silver is by Sanders & Mackenzie, dates from 1927 and is fully hallmarked.

This antique desk bell features a man golfer figure with golf club and ball as the handle, is fitted with it's original wooden clapper and is in very good condition.

An unusual piece that would make a wonderful gift for a golfing enthusiast.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter C for 1927 and maker's mark S&M for Sanders & Mackenzie.

Dimensions: Diameter: 7 cm (2 3/4"). Height: 11 cm (4 1/4").

Weight: 92 g.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. A few light surface scratches, a few small marks and a little tarnish.

Please note that only the bell is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
