Description

Circa 1910-1930 a pair of the finest quality, heavy and adjustable Student's Lamps or desk lamps, both marked G.E.C, the old General Electrical Council trademark. They have been rewired to UK specifications and fitted with an online switch.

The lamps measure 60cm in height, the bases are 16cm in diameter and the adjustable arms are approximately 23cm in length. The height of the arm and the angle of the lampshade can both be adjusted - see photos 3 and 7.

They both have the original weighted base and on the base of one is the GEC trademark with a No 20 underneath and the Number 4 on the other side. On the other lamp is the GEC trademark, Made In England around the edges and the No 4 on the other side. Each lamp weighs approximately 4kgs. We would consider selling them separately, please enquire.
