A good substantial Victorian earthenware or pottery cream glazed jelly mould c1880. Though a humble item from the Victorian kitchen, jelly moulds have a multitude of inner designs and this one features a large conch shell at the centre, encircled by eight scallop shell shapes. Probably intended for a seafood mousse, the strongly modelled conch shell would make an impressive sight. Sturdy, full of antique character and in excellent condition.
