A George I Style Burr Walnut Desk.

1900 - 1920
Description

A George I Style burr walnut desk. The rectangular top banded in walnut, with canted corners and an inset leather writing surface with blind and gilt tooled detail. The front having five rectangular mahogany lined drawers with traditional brass handles with reeded canted corners. The sides and reverse also veneered in figured walnut and raised on crispy carved cabriole supports with claw and ball feet, English circa 1920 in the George I Style. In superb original condition.

Dimensions: 48" wide x 24" deep x 30" high (knee hole 23" high x 16" wide)
