~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A stunning original antique French Rococo clock.
Panels backed with red fabric lighten the design. The reflection of pendulum can be seen gently swinging above the polished base.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with finely fretted gilt brass hands. The bezel is glazed with convex glass. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen and the clock is decorated in the round allowing you to display on a table or in front of a mirror.

The French movement is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with slight wear and discolouration. There are some light marks to the base. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage. There are some slight chips to the edge of the rear glass. We have replaced the fabric with fresh.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
