Description

Long carved oak bookcase by the quality Scottish cabinet makers Gardner & Son of Glasgow c.1910. Four door bookcase divided into two sections, each with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 12"). Solid oak top with a deep moulded edge over a carved guilloche frieze. Turned half spindle detail flanking the doors. Deep ogee moulded trip around the base and raised on turned bun feet. Solid oak sides and shelves. Original brass handles locks and latches, original maker's label. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
