The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has calibre 528 15-jewel, stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped cal 528, 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a long service inscription.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has light surface marking . The back of the watch has engine turned detail with a central vacant cartouche to the centre.

The glass lens has light marks but not too noticeable to the naked eye.
The dial is signed with traces of the name of the original retailer from Sheffield. The dial has a very faint hairline crack between 4 & 5 but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
