A Large Silver Plated Victorian Tea Caddy

Description

A large silver plated tea caddy from the mid - Victorian era. This handsome example is of cylindrical form. with beaded rims and a handsome monogram ( 'R' with a coronet above). To the pull off lid there is a shaped knop. It's generous proportions make the caddy versatile and an alternative use would be as a biscuit barrel. It's fine appearance renders it both decorative and practical. Dimensions below.
