A solid antique pitch pine flip over railway bench. The antique pitch pine railway bench has a flip over backrest raised on iron supports and a solid plank seat. The antique railway bench is raised on cast iron shaped sides, with pitch pine stretcher supports. A rather pleasing example, with wonderful grain throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the seat and backrest (pictured). The antique pitch pine railway bench remains structurally solid and sound, with the flip over backrest working well. A good example of a rustic antique pitch pine bench.
