George V Silver Triple Stamp Case by Albert Ernest Jenkins, Birmingham 1912

Description

This unusual George V silver triple envelope stamp case is 100 years old exactly. Both cover and back with engine-turned decorations. The front opening to reveal a plain interior fitted with three compartments. The inner envelope lid separately hallmarked and engraved with Patent number. The back with vacant circular reserve, the side with ring attachment.

Hallmarks:

A.E.J. for Albert Ernest Jenkins.

Birmingham assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "n" for 1912.

Dimensions:

6 cm x 3 cm.
