Description

This COUNTRY HOUSE CARVED GILT WOOD FOOT STOOL dates from circa 1860.

It retains its original gold leaf and has been double-gilded on the high points to give extra brilliance.

The Foot Stool has a tapestry top which has faded over time and which adds to its charm. It is stamped with number 9410 on the underside.

The Foot Stool is sturdy and in good condition with the expected wear to the gilt.

Width: 14 inches (35.5 cm)

Depth: 10 inches (25.5 cm)
