A very rare set of 10 kitchen dining chairs made from a stunning light colour beech. The set consists of 8 x six spindle round seated chairs and 2 x Carvers to match.
These chairs are in really excellent order. Beech is a very robust wood and the choice of it for this set has allowed an elegant design to be acheived without compromising any of the strength and durability expected from such functional pieces of furniture. The spindles are fine and the whole look is one of finesse.
The seat area on both standard and carvers is circular. The turned parts are nicely detailed and the carvers have wonderful swept arms.
This set benefits from a lovely finish to the beech which results in a wonderful feeling of warmth.
Overall a superb set of chairs that will function well and look beautiful for the next 100 years.
