Small Antique Solid Silver Novelty Pepper Pot Shaker

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a solid Sterling Silver pepper shaker. It is a small novelty design with a very round bottom and circular pierced top. It is good quality and weighs approximately 13g.

It is clearly hallmarked on the base for Birmingham, 1902 and the makers C D Saunders & J F Hollings. It also has a registration number 'Rd 396592'.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks around the rim of the lid but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
