Description

A very good quality French Louis XV style boulle red tortoise shell and brass inlaid mantel clock with ebonised sides. The clock has decorative foliate bronze gilt ormolu mounts and moulds with cherub mount to the front, finished with floral urn to the top and brass dial with white enamel Roman numerals. The movement is a French eight day which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.
