The high end furniture manufacturer P.E.Gane were based in Bristol from 1824 to 1954. During that time they achieved a fine reputation as bespoke producers - see links for extra info:

This stylish and very well kept item consists of a lower shelf, mid-shelf complete with drawer and attractive side aprons, all below a useful height upper which has side wing extensions. Mounted upon swept vertical arms is a good sized mirror with attractive brass fittings
A wonderful piece of furniture that is in good order throughout.
