Victorian Iron Framed Button Back Armchair

19th century
Description

A Victorian iron framed button back armchair, circa 1870, the tub shaped back over a sprung seat with serpentine shaped front and raised on walnut scroll front supports with original brass and porcelain castors.

A very comfortable and nicely proportioned chair in it's original burgundy chenile covering. The springs are good with no lumps oir bumps but the upholstery is worn. I can arrange re-covering and supply fabric - please contact me for further details.

90cm high, the seat 62cm wide across the front, 48cm deep and 41cm high. Total overall depth is 72cm.
