Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers C.1790

Description

Late 18th.c. Georgian oak chest of drawers c.1790. Solid oak top with a mahogany crossbanded and ogee moulded edge. Over two short and three long drawers of graduated height. Solid oak drawer fronts, also mahogany crossbanded, with cockbeaded edges and retaining the original brass handles and escutcheons. Flanked with quarter columns to the front corners, moulded base and raised on large bracket feet front and rear. Oak sides and drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
