Antique Edwardian Mahogany Revolving Bird Cage Side Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A wonderful original antique mahogany bird cage side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It has a beautiful design, with a shaped two tier top that spins on the base. The two tiers are connected by finely turned supports, this would be useful for storing books, papers or other small objects. The top surfaces have a flower shaped design, they sit on a baluster base which in turn sits on three tripod legs.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.

Depth – 16 inches , 40 cm
