Description

A fine Edwardian period inlaid mahogany secretaire bookcase. In the Sheraton style and very well constructed in solid mahogany with mahogany veneers. Embellished with boxwood inlaid stringing and satinwood inlaid banding throughout. The glazed top section surmounted by a broken-arch swan neck pediment. With a pair of glazed doors that open to access a shelved interior. The base section with a deep drawer housing a fitted secretaire with a black leather writing surface, pigeon holes and stationary drawers fronted in satinwood. With a pair of cupboard doors beneath which open to reveal a shelved interior. All doors and drawers are lockable, key supplied. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office. Splits into 2 sections for ease of installation.
