A 19th century signed and dated oil painting of boats of the coast in a gilt frame by William C. Knell. On the reverse there is a label with the artists name and the title of the painting - 'Off the Coast'. The painting is signed W. C. Knell 1855 on the bottom left corner. The gilt frame needs some minor attention. The actual painting measures 41.5cm x 30.5cm, and 56cm x 44cm including the frame.
