c1850Windsor Elm & Yew Country Chair - Yorkshire Style c1850

This Windsor chair is a fascinating piece and very charming indeed.

In addition to the images below we have also included in the listing a section from the 1979 John Andrews 'Price Guide to Antique Furniture' showing a near identical chair and outlining a little about the 'Yorkshire' design.

This piece has been well treated and the wood grain across the seat is gorgeous. The chair is solid and naturally a very comfortable place to sit. The seat height is good at 43cm making it easy to get in and out of.

This chair will make a lovely addition to any setting and is ready to give another 150 years service!
