Pembroke Table Drop Leaf Dining Mahogany Georgian C1750

Description

Superb Table - Ball & Claw Feet - George ll - circa 1750

This table is a lovely size and very versatile. The mahogany top is a wonderful colour.

Of particular note are the round tapered legs which terminate in an elegant ball and claw foot detail.

Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. We have photographed the small crack apparent in the upper surface and additonally there is a scratch but certainly nothing that detracts from the glory of this 260 year old table.

The table is well constructed and very solid. The opening leaf action and the supporting swing leg are all excellent. It is rare to find an example in this order.
