Description

A super silver hare paperweight by Sampson Mordan.

A great study of a hare sitting up on a Connemara Marble base, glass eyes.

There is no damage to the base, no cracks or chips, only natural striations.

The Hare is clearly marked on the feet.

London 1898 SM&Co, this has actually been struck twice,

The red baize covering to base is probably a later addition to stop it marking a surface.
