A beautiful example of a French Walnut Armoire Wardrobe - c1880
The highly polished finish is simply fabulous and really shows the true beauty of the walnut. The style is classic with the piece sitting upon very attractive raised feet.
This piece offers generous hanging space.
A wonderful item of furniture that is very versatile; it would look just as fantastic as a Hallway Cloak Wardrobe as it would a Bedroom Clothes Closet or a Drawing Room China Cabinet.
It is in excellent order throughout. The piece has obviously been very well cared for over the past 130 years. We like to note that there are old worm holes in the rear of the piece - these were wax filled decades ago and certainly do not impact upon the Armoire.
