Ebonised French Boulle Pier Cabinet - c1870

A charming example of a Victorian era Pier Display Cabinet.

This cabinet has a warm original feel to the piece. The outer Boulle work is incomplete in places adding to the appeal and creating a visually rewarding effect.

On each side there sits a handsome gilt metal figure casting.

The interior is very clean and finished with a fitting painted surface. There is one central shelf.

Overall the cabinet is nicely aged and has a gorgeous look.

The whole sits upon a lower sculpted plinth.
