Utterly charming Victorian novelty silver plated inkstand in the shape of an owl on a branch, in superb original condition, with pen rest in the form of branches, complete with glass eyes, so very finely detailed.

Stamped with maker’s marks by Atkin Brothers, circa 1880. Original silver plating. Lacking liner.
