Exceptional George lll Oak Corner Cabinet - c1780 - Marquetry & Crossbanding

This cabinet is in excellent order and the quality of the piece is defined by the charming crossbanded perimeter, the inner crossbanded door detailing, and the beautifully inlaid marquetry revealing a fox-conch shell motif.

The fielded panel door hangs on a pair of external 'H' hinges and contains a functioning lock mechanism complete with key.

Internally reside a pair of shelves with a detailed and shaped edge profile.

The upper cabinet is completed by a quality crown molding.

Overall a lovely example of and English corner cabinet which is rare to find and offers a good investment.
