Description

A charming Edwardian period Sheraton revival inlaid side, or writing table. Originally retailed by Hampton and Sons of Pall Mall, London. Very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. With rosewood cross banding, satinwood banding and boxwood stringing throughout. The top inset with a large oval panel of flame mahogany veneer. Finished to all 4 sides and standing on long elegant tapering square legs which terminate in spade feet. With a pull out writing slide and a single drawer. The slide fitted with its original green leather writing surface and the drawer lockable (key supplied). All fitted with original lovely bun handles in bone. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition ready to go straight into the home. This lovely table is versatile and would sit well within a number of different room scenarios within the modern home.
