In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It is in working order and has been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb (bulb not included). It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.
The lamp stands approximately 19 1/4" (49cm) tall. The base is 5" (13cm) diameter and the glass shade is 5 1/2"(14cm) wide.
It is in good condition for its age with no major damages. The chrome has tarnished and worn a little in places over time but it still displays beautifully.
