Lovely 5' King Size Forged Iron Bed

1900 - 1920

Description

Pretty king size forged iron bed of Portuguese origin. Lovely simple lines with very pretty central floral decoration and brass knobs. The bed has been professionally restored with corner joints checked for rigidity and side rails lengthened, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. Frame has been shot blasted and hand finished in Neptune paint Driftwood, and waxed to secure. Very sturdy bed with light appearance.

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.
