The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a nice quality 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some surface marking from use. Various signs suggests that this movement is not original to the case.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois watch case company . The case has light surface marking from use and a small ding to the back cover .

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens. Which is in nice condition.
The double sunk dial is signed Prestons Ltd. The dial has several very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
