Antique Elgin Full Hunter Pocket Watch, 1921

Description

Antique Elgin full hunter pocket watch, 1921.

The watch has a gilt seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 16,568,980 dates it back to 1921. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition with just minor marking. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which has darkened a shade or two with age.

The signed dial is in good condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
